These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stokl mobile application (“App”) and website (stokl.app) operated by the developer (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the App
Stokl is designed to help users manage and track their food supplies and estimate how long those supplies may last. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and not to misuse, disrupt, or interfere with its functionality.
2. Free Version, Pro Upgrade, and In-App Purchases
The App is free to download from the Apple App Store. You can use a free version with limits on how many items you can track: up to 5 food items and up to 2 water items at a time.
To track more items, you may purchase a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase (“Stokl Pro” or similar name shown in the App) that unlocks higher limits for as long as you use the App on your devices, subject to Apple’s rules. This is not a subscription: there is no automatic renewal and no recurring charge for Pro after the one-time purchase.
All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not collect or store your payment card or banking details. Prices, taxes, and available payment methods are shown by Apple at checkout and may vary by country or region.
Refunds and billing disputes for in-app purchases are handled under Apple’s policies (for example, via Apple Support or reportaproblem.apple.com). We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
If you replace your device or reinstall the App, you may need to use Apple’s Restore Purchases option in the App (where offered) to restore Pro on the same Apple ID. Unlock status is tied to your Apple account and Apple’s purchase records, not to a Stokl user account we operate.
We may change free-tier limits or Pro features in future App updates. Any purchase you have already completed will continue to grant the Pro access described at the time of purchase, unless Apple’s or applicable law requires otherwise.
3. Informational Purpose Only
The App provides estimates and general informational insights based on user input, including calculations of how many days your food supplies may last.
All such calculations are approximate and for guidance only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or reliable. Actual consumption, storage conditions, and individual circumstances may vary significantly.
Stokl is intended to provide a general overview of your food supplies and is not designed for precise calculations or critical decision-making. You remain fully responsible for managing your food and ensuring that you have sufficient supplies.
4. No Guarantees or Professional Advice
The App does not provide medical, nutritional, or safety advice. Any information provided is for general informational purposes only.
You are solely responsible for how you store, handle, and consume food products.
5. Data and Privacy
In the App, we do not collect, store, or transmit personal data for accounts or pantry content; app data is stored locally on your device. In-app purchases are handled by Apple; see Section 2 and our Privacy Policy for purchase-related information.
On the website, if you use the Help page contact form, we process the information you submit to respond to your request. We may use website analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to measure traffic and improve the website. The website may link to the Apple App Store; your use of the App through Apple is also subject to Apple’s terms and policies.

6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and functionality of the App are the intellectual property of the developer and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without prior written permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its results will be accurate or reliable.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of food, or any situation where your supplies are insufficient despite using the App.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
